Once we’ve eaten our way through Christmas we’re committing ourselves to Dorset MIND’s RED January campaign. They are encouraging you to support your mental health by staying active every day in January. It’s easy to get involved – simply sign up, buy a t-shirt and start fundraising.
Whether you endeavour to run 5km, jump rope with your little cousin or take a new cycle route to work, it all makes a difference, and allows you the time to focus on yourself and your mental health.
We’ll be behind you by creating our own local community of REDers to help support mental and physical wellbeing. With members of The Stable family, from Stablehands and senior ops taking part, we’re all in it to help each other. Ross, our Cider Ambassador, is particularly keen and is looking forward to starting 2019 off right.
You can become involved by following this link to sign up, or you can support local RED events, like the Bournemouth Pier to Pier Walk on the 6th of January (read more about their event here) we’ll have a number of Stablehands attending this fantastic event, so make sure you come say hi!
(By the way, RED stands for Run Every Day, but you can walk, jog, jump or dance – just be active!)
